- Normally, I exchange documents by e-mail and edit online using MS Word®, which provides the “track changes” feature that highlights additions and deletions in different colors. I can also edit PDF documents using Adobe Acrobat®, which has a similar feature.

- While editing, I keep open a file of “Notes” on things that I want to draw to your attention, and these are keyed to the page and line number, with the relevant text highlighted in yellow.
- I charge by the page, not by the hour, so you do not have to worry about cost inflation.
- I calculate pages using a formula based on word count, which means that you do not pay for white space, figures, etc.
- How I calculate charges:
- I copy your document and remove all math and tabular numeric data.
- I perform a word count.
- I divide by 275 (an average double-spaced page) and round to one decimal place.
- I multiply by the appropriate page rate (contact me for current rates).

- For payment, I can accept institutional or personal checks, direct deposit, and VISA, MC, and American Express credit cards.
- Two standing offers:
- 25% off on your first project up to 50 pages.
- 40% off on your next project after a referral.
- Lower fixed-fee charges for longer works such as books and dissertations.
